Give $10

Give back to one of the charities that inspires you. All of the proceeds generated by this prize go directly to the winner’s charity of choice, among those grant recipients supported by The Charity Ball Association within the last five years.*

*IRS withholding tax does not apply.

What is the Prize?

The Prize is the right to select a children’s nonprofit that will receive a donation from the CBA.  The nonprofit will be restricted to those that have been funded by the CBA in the past five years that are viable 501c3’s. See the list below.

What amount will the donation be?

The amount will be the total from all those who picked the Give $10 Prize.  Each ticket that is checked to put in the Give $10 prize box for the drawing will count $10, and the total will be calculated for the amount of the donation.

Can the winner keep the money instead?

No, it must go to a non-profit organization listed below.

Is the prize subject to withholding of 25%?

It is not, according to our attorney.

Is the prize ticket itself tax deductible?

No, in that respect it is like all the other raffle tickets.
